Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Mix in melted butter and sugar until combined, then stir in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Gradually mix this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing into squares.
