  • 6 oz fresh egg noodles
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce (or mushroom-based alternative)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef flank steak against the grain. Chop bell peppers into strips and cut broccoli into bite-sized florets. Crush the garlic.
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and toss with sesame oil.
  3. In a skillet or wok over medium-high heat, heat vegetable oil and sauté the beef until browned (about 3 minutes).
  4. Add bell peppers, broccoli, and garlic; stir-fry until vegetables are tender yet crisp (about 4 minutes).
  5. Pour soy sauce and oyster sauce over the mixture and stir well.
  6. Add cooked noodles to the skillet or wok. Toss everything together until combined and heated through (about 2 minutes). Serve hot.
