  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup light lager or pilsner beer
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Warm tortillas (flour or corn) for serving
  • Optional toppings: diced onions, fresh cilantro, avocado slices

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine beer, lime juice, garlic, and taco seasoning. Add chicken breasts and coat well. Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  2. Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium heat.
  3. Grill the marinated chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F).
  4. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and honey until smooth.
  5. Remove chicken from the grill and let it rest before shredding.
  6. Assemble tacos with shredded chicken, drizzle with honey-soy sauce, and add desired toppings.
