Description

Candy Cane Rice Krispie Treats are a festive and delightful twist on the classic marshmallow dessert. Combining crunchy Rice Krispies with melted marshmallows and buttery goodness, this treat is infused with crushed candy canes, delivering a refreshing minty flavor.   • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 10 oz mini marshmallows
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 candy canes (crushed)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat until bubbly. Stir in mini marshmallows until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually fold in Rice Krispies until well combined.
  5. Gently mix in half of the crushed candy canes.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press down evenly. Top with remaining crushed candy canes.
  7. Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares.
