Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat and steep 4 black tea bags for 5 minutes.
- Stir in ½ cup sugar until dissolved. Let cool at room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
- Wash and pit 1 cup of cherries. Slice them in half for more flavor release.
- In a large pitcher, muddle the cherries with mint leaves until juicy.
- Pour the chilled sweetened tea over the muddled cherry mixture and stir gently.
