Ingredients
Scale
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approximately 1.5 lbs)
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil. Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream while stirring continuously. Bring to a gentle simmer before gradually adding Parmesan cheese. Stir until melted and creamy; adjust thickness with additional cream if desired.
- Slice the rested chicken into strips or cubes, then add back to the sauce along with cooked fettuccine pasta. Toss until well coated.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt or pepper as needed, then serve immediately.
