Description

Chicken Harissa Meatballs are a delightful fusion of juicy ground chicken and the bold, spicy kick of harissa paste.   • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp harissa paste
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 can (14 oz) whole peeled tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, harissa paste, chopped parsley, breadcrumbs, and beaten egg. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and arrange them in the baking dish.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While baking, heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add crushed canned tomatoes with salt and pepper; simmer gently.
  6. Once the meatballs are baked, transfer them to the sauce and serve hot.
