Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 crusty sub rolls
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  3. Once cooked through, pour marinara sauce over the chicken and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Top the chicken with mozzarella cheese, cover with a lid until melted (3-5 minutes).
  5. Place chicken into sub rolls and spoon extra marinara sauce on top before sprinkling with Parmesan.
  6. Bake assembled subs on a baking sheet for 10-12 minutes until bread is crispy and cheese is bubbly.
