Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp chili paste (adjust for spice level)
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for cooking)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice beef sirloin thinly against the grain and mince garlic.
  2. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain and toss with a little oil to prevent sticking.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add sliced beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned; remove from the pan.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Stir in chili paste, soy sauce, brown sugar, and a splash of water; mix well.
  6. Return the cooked beef to the pan along with the noodles; toss everything together until well coated in the sauce.
