  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: peel and devein the shrimp, chop the onions and garlic, and dice the tomatoes.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Sauté onions and garlic until softened (about 3-4 minutes).
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet along with salt and pepper. Cook until shrimp turn pink (about 2-3 minutes per side).
  4. Pour in chicken broth followed by diced tomatoes and green chiles. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Lower the heat slightly and stir in heavy cream; let simmer for another 3-4 minutes until thickened. Adjust seasoning as needed.
