  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)
  • 1 medium sweet onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the onion and mincing the garlic.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Sprinkle chopped onion and minced garlic over the chicken.
  4. Add salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin to infuse flavors.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix BBQ sauce with cider vinegar and honey.
  6. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring it's well-coated.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  8. Once cooked, shred the chicken in the pot with two forks and mix with sauce.
