  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • 1 lb spicy Italian sausage
  • 2 bell peppers (1 red, 1 green), chopped
  • 1 large yellow onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes in juice
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Chop the bell peppers and onion; mince the garlic.
  2. 2. Layer the chopped veggies at the bottom of the crockpot.
