Description

Easter Poke Cake is a festive, flavorful treat featuring moist vanilla cake soaked in sweetened condensed milk and topped with whipped cream and colorful sprinkles, making it perfect for spring celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping
  • Optional: flavored gelatin or sherbet, sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and water until smooth. Pour into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool slightly, then poke holes all over the cake using a fork.
  4. Slowly pour sweetened condensed milk over the holes, gently pressing down to ensure absorption.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours to meld flavors.
  6. Spread whipped topping over the chilled cake and decorate with sprinkles or fruit as desired.
