  • 1 package phyllo dough (thawed)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach (sautéed)
  • 4 oz feta cheese (crumbled)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for sautéing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Sauté spinach in olive oil over medium heat until wilted, about 3 minutes; let cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sautéed spinach, crumbled feta, oregano, and thyme until well combined.
  4. Layer three sheets of phyllo dough brushed with melted butter; cut into squares.
  5. Place about one tablespoon of filling in the center of each square; fold edges to create cups and brush with egg wash.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.
