Description

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook jumbo pasta shells in boiling salted water until al dente; drain gently.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, half the mozzarella, parmesan, and basil; mix well.
  4. Spoon filling into each pasta shell and place them in a greased baking dish.
  5. Pour marinara sauce over the shells and sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
