Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 medium sweet onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 slider rolls
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat and sear the roast until browned on all sides (4-5 mins per side). Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add onions and garlic; sauté until golden brown (about 5 mins).
  3. Return the roast to the pot along with beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer on low heat for about three hours or until fork-tender.
  4. Shred the beef and preheat your oven to broil (500°F). Slice slider rolls in half, layer shredded beef and provolone cheese on each roll.
  5. Broil sliders for about three minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with reserved broth as a dipping sauce.
