Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water (110°F/43°C)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water and active dry yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Create a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and softened butter. Stir until combined.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise in a warm area until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  5. Punch down dough gently, divide into golf ball-sized pieces, and place on a greased baking sheet.
  6. Mix melted butter with minced garlic and parsley; brush over each roll before letting rise again for 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
