- 12 no-boil lasagna noodles
- 1 ½ cups whole-milk ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded fresh mozzarella cheese
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups marinara sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 large eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, eggs, half of the Parmesan, salt, pepper, and basil until creamy.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the baking dish. Place three noodles on top. Add half the ricotta mixture, more marinara, and a layer of mozzarella.
- Repeat the layering process: noodles, ricotta, marinara, mozzarella. Finish with noodles topped with remaining sauce and mozzarella.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
