  • 6 sausages (pork, chicken, or plant-based)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp water (for egg wash)
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Mustard or ketchup (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface until approximately 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Cut the pastry into thin strips, about half an inch wide.
  4. Wrap each sausage with the pastry strips, leaving gaps for a mummy effect.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together the egg and water; brush over the wrapped sausages.
  6. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
