Each crispy patty is a delightful blend of textures, making them perfect for brunch, snacks, or light meals. Easy to prepare and endlessly adaptable, these golden-brown bites promise an explosion of flavor in every mouthful.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes (approximately 400g), peeled and cubed
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
  • 2 tbsp oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Boil the cubed sweet potatoes in salted water for 15-20 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and mash them in a large bowl.
