  • 2 cups shredded green jackfruit (young, packed in water)
  • 1 cup plain or seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened plant-based milk
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse and drain the green jackfruit, then shred it until it resembles pulled meat.
  2. In a bowl, combine the shredded jackfruit with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Set up three bowls: one with seasoned flour, one with plant-based milk, and one with breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip each piece of jackfruit in flour, then milk, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
