- 1/2 cup potato starch (or cornstarch)
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sake, garlic, and ginger. Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and coat each piece in potato starch.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the chicken in batches until golden brown (about 5 minutes), flipping halfway through.
- Drain on paper towels and serve with lemon juice squeezed over the top.
