  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain.
  3. In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  4. In a large bowl, mix marinara sauce, softened cream cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder until smooth. Stir in the cooked ground beef.
  5. In an oven-safe baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti, followed by half of the meat sauce mixture and half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Serve with a drizzle of olive oil or fresh basil.
