  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 can (28 oz) San Marzano tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot. Cook fettuccine until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Add canned tomatoes (with juices) to the skillet, crushing them gently. Simmer for about 10 minutes until thickened.
