- 4 salmon fillets (wild-caught, fresh or frozen)
- 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Fresh herbs (parsley or dill)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Thaw and rinse the shrimp under cold water. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, drizzle olive oil over both salmon and shrimp. Season generously with salt, pepper, minced garlic, and lemon juice; let marinate while heating the skillet.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon skin-side down for 4-5 minutes until crispy; flip and add shrimp around it. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Remove proteins from the pan, reduce heat to low, add butter and remaining lemon juice to create a sauce. Stir until melted.
- Garnish with fresh herbs before serving hot alongside rice or vegetables.
