- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 8 oz penne or rotini pasta
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts.
- Season both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper.
- In the slow cooker, layer the seasoned chicken at the bottom and cover with marinara sauce.
- Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning on top of the sauce.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in uncooked pasta and half of the grated Parmesan cheese until bubbly.
