  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in bourbon and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually fold in dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Spoon batter into liners about two-thirds full and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.
