  • 12 oz cooked spaghetti
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey (optional)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cook spaghetti until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix spaghetti with eggs, half the Parmesan, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Layer half the spaghetti mixture in the baking dish, followed by half the marinara and dollops of ricotta (and meat if using).
  5. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients, finishing with marinara and Parmesan on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown; let cool slightly before serving.
