Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine yellow cake mix, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth for about two minutes.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. While the cake cools, mash the mixed berries in a bowl to create a sauce.
  5. Once cooled for about 10-15 minutes, poke holes all over the cake surface with a skewer or fork.
  6. Pour the berry mixture over the cake and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  7. Top with whipped topping before serving.
