  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts; season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, honey, minced garlic, and lime juice until smooth.
  3. Marinate the chicken in half of the sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat; sear chicken for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (75°C).
  6. Let rest before slicing; drizzle with remaining sauce before serving.
