- 2 racks baby back pork ribs (approximately 4 pounds)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.
- Wrap each rack tightly in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until fork-tender.
- Unwrap the foil and brush barbecue sauce on both sides of the ribs. Return to the oven uncovered for an additional 30 minutes.
- Let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
